How Mama Goose Came to Be 

Mama Goose began with Dr. Sabroso's daughter, Luna, recognizing her mother's naturally nurturing way of being.

She noticed how naturally her mother cared for everyone around her. At retreats, she was the one brushing sand from someone's feet after the beach, making sure everyone had eaten, running after people with sunscreen, and quietly noticing when someone needed a little extra care.

One day, Luna began calling her Mama Goose.

She even drew her: a sweet little goose wrapped in an orange saffron. And somehow, the name was perfect. 

Before long, her students began calling her Mama Goose too. Not because of the drawing, but because they recognized the gentle, motherly feeling behind it.

Mama Goose became a recognizable field of warmth and care, a nurturing presence that quietly watches over others while encouraging them to discover their own strength.

And that is the heart of Mama Goose.

She isn't here to give you answers or teach you something new. She simply reminds us to become still enough to discover something precious that has been there all along:
